PortoBay Liberdade is the new Lisbon five-star hotel from the PortoBay Group. Situated in Rua Rosa Araújo, 60 metres from Avenida da Liberdade, the most luxurious avenue in Portugal and right in the city centre. This avenue extends along typically Portuguese white limestone cobbled pavements, linking Restauradores and Marquês de Pombal squares. It is lined by luxury shops, including Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Montblanc, Cartier and Emporio Armani. The hotel is a pleasant walk from the main tourist attractions in the city of Lisbon: St. Jorge's' Castle, Alfama, Rossio, Praça do Comércio, Chiado and Bairro Alto. .. 



This boutique hotel, with 98 rooms, has the characteristics of an urban resort . .. An indoor swimming pool and gymnasium, SPA with treatment rooms for two, sauna, Turkish steam bath, esplanade, patio, terrace and verandas in most rooms.



With a focus on technology, and with different reasons for travelling in mind, the hotel's rooms, meeting rooms and gym are equipped with a number of different technology facilities. The hotel also provides tablets. 



Built from scratch by PortoBay Hotels & Resorts, this project by Architect Frederico Valsassina preserves the historic façade of the palaces of Lisbon from the turn of the 20th Century, in a blend between the old and contemporary.
